About San Benedetto in Perillis
Please sign in to see more.
If you have ancestors from the lovely little hilltop town of San Benedetto in Perillis, Abruzzo,Italy... you will find them here...so welcome to YOUR family tree!

This tree has been a work of love since 2007. We hope you will help us to continue to grow the tree by updating your branch. Just send an message to me from the "click here" link in the first paragraph. Also make sure to REALLY explore this home page. There is lots of info here to help make your visit to your tree more fruitful and fun. Don't be afraid to scroll around and click away

Untold thanks go to Giacomo Liberatore (1950-2009), aka Jocko, who lit the fire under me to get this family tree started and fanned my flames to make sure I did not waver in my efforts. The tree
would not be here today but not for him.

Accoloades also have to go to my current day hero, Giancaterino Gualtieri, who is previous mayor of SBinP. He also has a fire in his heart for the ancestry and history of this town. Again this tree would not be what it is today if not for his work...and his willingness to share his life's work with me. Please accept thanks from me Giancaterino, on behalf of all of the descendants of SBinP.

There are quite a few other "support" descendants that I need to thank. I will not name them here...mostly for fear of leaving someone out!! You know who you are and I thank you all for taking my questions and helping me search for answers when I need them.

And finally there is you, the person reading this right now, YOU are the key to this tree. It will not grow its branches or strengthen its roots without your help. If you have helped in the past or will help in the future, thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of all who have left their hearts in St Benny.

Grazie mille!!

PS-There is a "stories" section below which we would ALL love to see expanded. If you remember a story that your parents or grandparents told please share it with me. I have lots of stories "hidden" away within the notes of individuals in the family tree and would also like to add them to this section so if you happen across one please let me know as well!!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
